    The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the Scout Oath and Law. The Gulf Coast Council serves eleven counties in Florida and Alabama and provides mountain top experiences to over 2,600 youth from Kindergarten through Age 21. Since 1910. Scouting focuses on objectives related to citizenship, leadership development, citizenship training and personal fitness.

    The Gulf Coast Council, Scouting America is a registered 501 (c) charity receiving funding from alumni contributions, community contributions, special events, grants, United Way of the Emerald Coast, Smoke of the Coast, spring camp card sale and fall popcorn sale.
