ART WEEK at ADSO

Art Week at ADSO has been a yearly event that offers a wide variety of class in many different media. Classes are held all day November 4 and all week November 6th through the 10th when there will be an Art Party/Reception 6-8 pm. Along with the Classes, there are also ART CONTESTS
Work is due on Saturday, November 4, 1-4 pm. Cost is $5 per Entry (for Mystery Build Bag, obtain Bag
from office in time to do your thing; also for the Take out Box, payment due then).
Awards will be given at the Art Party on Friday, Nov. 10.
Entry forms available in the office.
1. MYSTERY BUILD BAG Make a piece
of art from the recycled and found objects
in the bag. You must incorporate ALL the
pieces, using your own substrate and
anything you want to add.
2. PICK A COLOR …any color, and be
sure that your artwork is 75% in that
color.
3. PULP ART Create a mixed media art
work using all three of the following:
Newspaper, Corrugated cardboard
(available in the office), and wood, plus
other media; paint, glue, etc., as needed
for your 2-D OR 3-D project.
4. TAKE OUT BOX The box must be
made into a house (ex: a gingerbread,
candy, beach, or Hansel & Gretel house),
using the entire box along with any items
you want to add to enhance the house.
