Conexión Media Group (CMG) invites you to be part of the INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL Fort Walton Beach 2019. The primary purpose of our festival is to bring the entire community together in UNITY, regardless of ethnicity, race, or creed, to enjoy a high quality, family-friendly event.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 10 am – 9 pm at the main ballroom of the Emerald Coast Convention Center. It will have representation in Music, Food, Folklore, and/or Art, from as many nations as possible. The net proceeds, but not less than $1,000.00, will be donated to Opportunity Place Inc. – a shelter for single women and families who are homeless.
The support of the business community will be key to its success and we thank the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce for being a co-sponsor of our INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL!
Last year’s festival was co-sponsored by the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, the City of Fort Walton Beach, and was supported by several corporate sponsors. We also received outstanding support from the leadership of the Mobile International Festival. All this allowed us to have high quality local and regional entertainment and vendors from throughout the region, with some traveling from as far as Tallahassee, Panama City, Mississippi, and Alabama. The event raised funds for One Hopeful Place and Special Olympics Florida Okaloosa County.
Our goal for this event is for it to become THE community event of the Spring!
The festival will launch a series of events, led by Conexión Media Group and partners, that will comprise the first ever “Emerald Coast International Week” celebration in our area!
For those who have traveled abroad, it will bring back memories and a fun environment. For those who have not traveled abroad, we will “bring the world to them” on this day and celebrate UNITY.
Live music bands, DJs, singers, and folkloric groups will be part of the entertainment, and we also plan on having a variety of product, information, and food vendors.
