    Event Description:
    Active Threat Preparedness Training
    An Active Threat is defined as a situation in which an individual or group poses an immediate danger to the safety of self and others.

    Active threat preparedness educates individuals and organizations on how to respond effectively to a crisis event.  The training includes strategies for recognizing potential threats, understanding emergency procedures, practicing lockdown and evacuation protocols, and using situational awareness to improve safety.  The goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to minimize risk and enhance personal and community safety during a crisis.

    Bio
    James Klettheimer is a recently retired FBI Agent with over 22 years of service during which he fulfilled numerous roles, including 15 years as a SWAT Operator.  Notably, he served as the senior liaison to the Department of Defense and concluded his tenure as the FBI’s senior liaison to the CIA at Langley.  Throughout his career, he safeguarded 7 Attorney Generals and 3 FBI Directors, while executing security plans for major events including 3 Super Bowls, NBA Championships, College Football Playoffs and NASCAR events.

    James is committed to sharing the extensive knowledge he acquired over his career with individuals and businesses in the community.  He focuses on fostering vigilance, mindfulness, and preparedness to mitigate threats and equip individuals with essential insights for responding to crisis events.  The mission is to enhance community safety and collectively reduce risks, ensuring a safer future for everyone.
