    SimpleHR is looking for a full-time IT System Administrator based in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida area.
    Position is located in our Destin, Florida office and is not a remote position.

    Responsibilities:
    · Provides maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, equipment, network servers and equipment.
    · Provides desktop and helpdesk support of operating system, desktop hardware and peripherals, and core desktop applications for SimpleHR staff and client users.
    · Provides user support and training including classroom, one-on-one, and remote training
    · Maintains the essentials such as operating systems, core business applications, servers, network equipment, desktop computers and peripherals.
    · Works with clients and internal users while providing technical guidance and support.
    · Assists Director of Information Technology and IT department staff with department projects and network needs according to corporate objectives

    Qualifications:
    · Minimum of four (4) years' experience with network support and administration experience including but not limited to daily network administration best practices, LAN and WAN management, Windows Server, Active Directory, global policy, DNS, Virtual Server, Terminal Services, backup procedures, system security, virus prevention and removal.
    ·Bachelor's Degree in computer science, network administration or equivalent experience.
    · Hands on experience required; including experience with hardware and software installations, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of computers and equipment, knowledge of MS Windows OS, MS Office and user configurations.
    · Knowledge and experience in best practices for Network Security, Security+ certification or equivalent experience preferred.
    · Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to be calm and responsive in urgent situations.
    · Ability to handle urgent situations in a calm professional manner
    · Good interpersonal and communication skills including verbal and written.
    · Excellent time management skills. Ability to prioritize according to corporate objectives and to manage multiple simultaneous tasks, long-term and short-term projects in accordance with corporate priorities.
    · Must be skilled in oral and written communication. Ability to communicate technical information in layman’s terms to users of all levels of experience.
    · Have hands on experience with computer maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting.
    · Working knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals and network equipment.
    · Knowledge of desktop support and maintenance.
    · Works well independently or in team settings.
